Dance Couple from Yakutia Captured Bronze at the International Championship

Dance couple from Yakutsk became the bronze medalist of Russia at XX International Open Championship of Russia on sports dances "Dance Accord-2014".  Margarita Hamzaeva and Alexander Lillo from "Reverence" Dance Sport Club for the first time ever in the history of the Yakut school of sports dance have taken such a high place.This is absolute recognition of the high level of skill of our athletes at the international level.

According to senior coach and manager of the national team of the Republic of Sakha and Dance Sport Club "Reverence" Nelly Lillo, the Russian Championship always attracts great attention of all lovers of dance sport.This year's Championship in Sochi was attended by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

"Candidate masters Margarita Hamzaeva and Alexander Lillo, who have long been representing Yakutia in various tournaments,  won the third place in the adult Latin program in the «Rising Stars» category.Such a good result was reached by the Yakut athletes for the first time. The couple has a high class training that meets international standards.We're not going to dwell on this successful performance and will do everything to ensure that other young pupils of the Republican dance sport school not only have such heights, but excel seniors.Despite all the difficulties that we experience because of the region remoteness, financial issues, we will go forward, actively and successfully represent our republic in such tournaments", - says Nelly Lillo.

The Sakha Republic was successfully represented by best dance couples from Yakutsk, Mirny and Lensk.30 athletes from Yakutia have made a shot at the Championship of Russia.

 "Dance Accord - 2014" - a tournament which has the status of an international competition - said a member of the team parent committee Aina Neustroeva13 thousand dancers from 40 countries, including Italy, Germany, England, Latvia, Kazakhstan and China participated in the Championship”.
