The length of the route, including the cities of St. Petersburg, Novgorod, Rzhev, Tula, Moscow, Novorossiysk, Kerch, Sevastopol was about 4000 km.
Well-known runner, supporter of extremal sports, visually impaired Pyotr Naumov dedicated his marathon to hero towns and Cities of Military Glory of Russia, the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the memory of Yakut soldiers killed on Lake Ilmen in 1943.
