Yakut boxer Vasily Egorov as a member of the Russian national team takes part in Feliks Stamm International Boxing Tournament in Warsaw on March 12-16. On the first day of the competition, the vice-champion of the world won a confident victory 4: 1.
The Polish international tournament brought together 136 boxers from 27 countries. The national team of Russia is represented by nine athletes including two-time European champion Vasily Egorov.
The Yakut boxer fights in the weight category up to 52 kg. In the first fight he challenged Maciej Jozwik from Poland. The fight ended with a score of 4: 1 in favor of Egorov. In the next stage against him will be Hamza Touba from Germany, an Olympian of Rio, who won a flawless victory in the first fight.
