Russians will be able to travel to Mongolia without visas

From November 14, an agreement on terms of mutual visa-free travel of citizens of the Russian Federation and Mongolia which was signed on  September 3, 2014, comes into force.

"Citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of Mongolia, who are holders of diplomatic, official, foreign passports can enter, exit, transit and stay on the territory of another state without a visa for up to 30 days, the total period of stay may not exceed 90 days within a period of 180 days from the date of first entry ", - quotes "BaltInfo".

It should be noted that the popularity of Mongolia among tourists has increased in recent years.Among foreign tourists are leading citizens of China, Russia, South Korea, Japan and USA.They are followed by tourists from France, Germany and Australia.In 2011-2012 there was a sharp increase in the number of American tourists.By 2015, the country plans to receive up to 1 million foreign tourists. Currently, Mongolia has about 650 tour operators.
