Tomorrow, March 24, under the auspices of the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF), an environmental action of Earth Hour will be held around the world
The event is held annually encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights for one hour to stimulate interest in the problem of climate change, visual pollution and other environmental issues.
Anyone can take part in the most massive environmental action on the planet. "Switching-off the electricity for an hour - we will be able to demonstrate solidarity in matters of saving electricity, make our personal contribution to the preservation of our planet," says the Ministry of Natural Resources of Yakutia.
To become a participant of the action, it is necessary to turn off the lights at 08:30 pm on March 24 in the office or at home, as well as the advertising illumination of the organization at this time.
