Days of Yakutia in Moscow reached their goal, said the head of the republic Egor Borisov, commenting on the results of the event.

"Days of Yakutia in Moscow dedicated to the 385th anniversary of the entry of Yakutia into the Russian state, the 95th anniversary of the formation of the Yakut ASSR and the 25th anniversary of the Constitution (Basic Law) of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), are held at a high organizational level. We are a part of Russia and, holding Days of Yakutia in Moscow, we set a goal that I think we have achieved - to represent the republic with dignity at the federal and even world level, to show the achievements of Yakutia," Borisov emphasized.

The head of the region recalled that Days of Yakutia in Moscow started on November 4, when Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill held a Divine Liturgy on the National Unity Day in the Patriarchal Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. A solemn prayer service was dedicated to 385th anniversary of entry of Yakutia in the Russian state.

Also the problems were voiced in Moscow, which were then discussed in the format of bilateral meetings and round tables in the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, federal ministries and departments and directly at enterprises.

"Possible solutions to our economic and social problems requiring the participation of the federal center were discussed during the events of Days of Yakutia. For example, we discussed the formation of tariffs, the expansion of the RF Government's participation in the construction of our social facilities, issues related to the development of health care, languages, culture," Borisov explained.

The investment potential of the republic along with other entities in the Far Eastern Federal District was presented in the pavilion of the Expocenter Central Exhibition Complex.

Unique culture of peoples living on the vast territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was also presented. Egor Borisov noted that he views the preservation of culture, traditions and languages as an effective tool to protect against the influence of external factors. "Our unique culture and rich traditions help us achieve the necessary results, defend ourselves against the destructive processes of globalization.

Muscovites very positively perceived the traditional crafts of Yakutia, were delighted with beautiful national costumes fully adapted to the harsh climatic conditions of the winter in Yakutia," he said.

Within the framework of Days of Yakutia in Moscow, the final stage of the World Mas-Wrestling Cup 2017 for the prizes of Il Darkhan of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) took place. This sport attracts a large number of athletes around the world and has the prospect of joining the international Olympic movement. Egor Borisov said that the strongest athletes from many countries take part in prestigious competitions.

The head of the republic noted that once again the traditional Days of Yakutia in Moscow showed the great potential of the northern republic, which has been living and developing with Russia for almost four centuries. "I believe that the goals of Days of Yakutia in Moscow have been achieved," said Egor Borisov.
