Information about the events and opportunities of the Far East becomes more accessible to a foreign audience. The Ministry of the Russian Federation for Development of the Far East registered official accounts in English in two social networks - Facebook and Twitter.
The accounts contain operational messages, news, infographic and other information about the development of the Far East. One can also ask the representatives of the Ministry on the account.
Expansion of the foreign audience is one of the strategic tasks of the Information Division of the Ministry for 2018.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry for Economic Development of the Russian Far East, Aleksandr Galushka, noted the need for constant development of the areas of interaction between the Ministry and the audience, including foreign ones.
"One of the objectives of the Ministry for Economic Development of the Russian Far East is to be an informative, open institution," said Aleksandr Galushka. "It's important to interact with the audience where it's convenient for the audience, and not be limited to standard tools."
Minvostokrazvitiya of Russia pays much attention to social networks. Today, the official accounts of the Ministry are registered on Facebook, VKontakte, Twitter and Odnoklassniki. Also, the official Telegram channel of the Ministry has been launched, where daily informative digests of the current news about the Far East are published.
According to the results of 2017, the Ministry for Economic Development of the Russian Far East was the leader of the openness rating of authorities in social networks.
The official website of the Ministry is also adapted for foreign audiences. Today the e-portal is available in English and Chinese. For the convenience of foreign users, the linguists have translated the main sections of the site, as well as a news block.
The Minister instructs to continue the work on the development of interaction sites with the audience in 2018.
