The project to build a bridge across the Lena River in Yakutsk, which the republic is developing along with Chinese investors, will be presented again at the Eastern Economic Forum on September 3-5 in Vladivostok. This was announced during a briefing by Minister of Investment Development and Entrepreneurship Anton Safronov.
Now the government of the country is considering three capital infrastructural projects concerning the bridge across the Lena River. We must step up and present our project as one of the highest priorities, Anton Safronov noted.
According to him, for this it is necessary that the Chinese partners - Sinohydro Corporation Limited - present the feasibility study of the project at the Eastern Economic Forum: "We have already had meetings within the framework of the Russian-Chinese EXPO held in mid-June. We met with our potential partners. However, before disclosing details, we need to solve several technical and commercial issues."
As Yuliana Diryakhova, Acting General Director of the Investment Promotion Agency of Yakutia, said during the briefing, 18 projects are currently under consideration, but only a few will be added to the forum after the selection.
