The alley in honor of the 95th anniversary of the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic will appear in the east of Moscow. This was reported by Yuri Kupriyanov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to the President of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Prime Minister of Yakutia.

"On April 26 in honor of the 95th anniversary of the formation of the Yakut ASSR, we will plant a tree alley. It will appear in the park on Rudnevka Street 14. We will plant 52 trees and 1 thousand shrubs," - said Yuri Kupriyanov.

According to the head of the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of the capital, Vitaly Suchkov, selection of trees is carried out by the Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection of the capital.

In addition, on April 27 the prominent figures of the republic will plant individual trees on Novy Arbat, 34. "We hope that within a year - within the framework of the Year of Ecology - we will be able to plant 385 trees in Moscow in honor of Yakutia," - Kupriyanov said.

April 27 is the day of formation of the Yakut ASSR, which is considered the Day of Yakutia.

Days of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in Moscow will be held December 16 - 19. The last time they were held five years ago. Then they were visited by more than 10 thousand Muscovites.
