Service-Integrator Yakutia Company, which joined ‘South Yakutia’ Advanced Development Zone in Neryungri district as a resident six months ago, invested more than 800 million rubles in coal mining at the East Denisovka deposit, TASS reports.
"Within six months of obtaining the status, the resident acquired more than 30 units of mining and auxiliary equipment, the amount of investments exceeded 800 million rubles excluding VAT, which resulted in the creation of more than 180 new jobs," told Minskostokrazvitiya (Ministry for Development of Russian Far East).
For the first quarter of 2018, coal mining exceeded 130 thousand tons. After commissioning all the purchased equipment, the company plans to bring production to the level of 220 thousand tons of coal per quarter, the ministry noted.
‘South Yakutia’ Advanced Development Zone was established in December 2016. This large mining industrial center is located in Neryungri District. Seven projects are implemented on the territory with a total investment volume of over 32 billion rubles.
