Yury Trutnev: Investors interested in Eastern Economic Forum

Asian investors show interest in Eastern Economic Forum, scheduled for August in Vladivostok, including measures for the development of the region, which have been developed by the government, said Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev at a meeting with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

"Our neighbors are interested enough in the forum today, including new forms of work, which I have now said about and they want to take part in all this," - said Trutnev, who is also RF presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District. He stressed that the government should decide on the law on the free port of Vladivostok, should continue to work in the territories of priority development and on investment projects, start work of Far East Development Fund, as well as develop a whole series of mechanisms that will stimulate investment activity in the region.

Earlier, Medvedev announced that he has signed a decree on the list of investment projects in the Far East, which will receive state support. According to him, it is about a number of processing factories and gold mining in Kamchatka, in the Amur region, the construction of mining and processing plant in Yakutia, a complex for transshipment of coal in the Khabarovsk region.  He also noted that a stake was put on the territories of priority development. РИА Новости
