Vice Premier, Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev praised the progress of the projects of the ‘South Yakutia’ Advanced Development Zone and, at the same time, outlined areas with identified issues.
"Everything that Kolmar Company does is valued as a very effective and properly organized work. Projects are rapidly gaining profitability, creating new jobs. The Company participates in the employment of ALROSA workers who were released as a result of the accident at the Mir mine. The project opens many service organizations that also create new jobs. So there is nothing but gratitude to those who participate in these projects," Trutnev said.
It is a bit more difficult with the services that should be provided by related organizations, the plenipotentiary noted. "Today, at the meeting, we considered the plans of the Russian Railways. The volume of coal mining and shipment is increasing, so today RR is faced with the task of forming an investment program, taking into account the provision of the carrying capacity of all participants. The development of the Far East is proclaimed by the President of Russia as a national priority; people invest money, they work hard. It is necessary to ensure that there is no downtime, and the railway would not be a bottleneck in this work," he stressed.
