Coal mining company Kolmar plans to sign an agreement with Baosteel for the next batch of coal in the spring of 2018, the press service of the company told YSIA.
"The agreement with Baosteel for 2018 is agreed, the delivery volumes will be doubled. The customer wants to sign an agreement in Moscow, in late March - early April. Until that time, we are continuing to work under the current contract. I want to emphasize that for us Baosteel is one of the strategically important partners, we intend to further develop and strengthen relations with China,” said Anna Tsivileva, Deputy General Director of Kolmar Group.
According to her, today Baosteel is the fifth largest steel producer in the world, producing high-tech products, including steel for the car industry, household electrical appliances, oil and gas sector, shipbuilding and construction.
The Kolmar Group of Companies is a Russian holding uniting coal producers, trading and logistics companies, which form a single cycle for the extraction, enrichment and shipment of high-quality coking and energy coal produced in the Neryungri region of Yakutia.
Kolmar is building two mining complexes (GOK) - Denisovsky and Inaglinsky, as well as a coal terminal in the port of Vanino.
