Japanese equipment for wind turbines in Tiksi to be delivered on time

At present, cooperation of Yakutia and RusHydro with the Japanese side is developing. In the village of Tiksi, it is planned to implement a unique project of an energy system capable of accumulating wind energy. This was stated in the framework of 5th International Conference "Development of Renewable Energy in the Far East of Russia."

The authorities of Yakutia and Hevel Group signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of electricity supply to isolated settlements of the republic through the construction of autonomous hybrid power plants based on solar energy.

Japanese renewable energy specialists visit Tiksi again

On the eve of 5th International Conference "Development of Renewable Energy Sources in the Far East", the Japanese delegation of representatives of NEDO, Komaihaltec Inc., Mitsui & Co. began their stay in Yakutia with a visit to the village of Tiksi in Bulunsky ulus, where it is planned to build a windmill park with a capacity of 1 MW by the autumn of 2018. In 2019 it is planned to put the project into operation, reported the press service of the Ministry of Housing and Energy of Yakutia.

The development of single-industry towns to be one of the priority projects in Yakutia

The authorities of Yakutia are planning to reduce the dependence of the single-industry towns on the city-forming enterprises by creating new jobs and improving the quality of the urban environment. Passports of the corresponding program were approved yesterday at a meeting of the Central Project Committee of the Republic under the leadership of Il Darkhan Egor Borisov.
