Within two years the Far East received 25 billion dollars of investments, said Deputy Prime Minister - Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian President in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev in Hanoi at the "round table" with representatives of the Vietnamese businesses interested in working with Russia.
According to the Plenipotentiary, in the Far East, within the framework of new development tools, 500 investment projects have been launched. At the same time, more than 30 percent of all investments come from foreign investors.
"In the Far East, unprecedented conditions for the economic development of the territory have been created, such as advanced development zones, Vladivostok Free Port, state targeted support for investment projects, concessional financing for the Far East Development Fund. This allowed for two years to attract $ 25 billion of investment, and taking into account the large gas processing and petrochemical projects that are being considered by the government, this amount will be 60 billion," said Yuri Trutnev.
As previously noted Minister of the Russian Federation on the development of the Far East Aleksandr Galushka in the macro-region, the conditions of economic development are competitive in comparison with Asia Pacific countries.
